Hi there! I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Washington in Human Centered Design and Engineering.

My research lies at the intersection of human-computer interaction, AI safety, and accessibility. I publish in top-tier HCI conferences, including CHI, ASSETS, and CSCW. My work has received a CHI Honorable Mention and an ASSETS Best Paper Nomination. My work has been supported by the National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship, Cornell’s First Year Fellowship (top 1.5% of applicants), and the Digital Life Initiative Doctoral Fellowship.

I received my PhD in Information Science from Cornell University, co-advised by Shiri Azenkot and Aditya Vashistha. My dissertation examined how to combat ableism on social media by first holistically understanding disability-related discrimination and then designing AI-moderation systems to mitigate such harms.

Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Washington, working with Julie Kientz and Emily Tseng. My research there continues to span two areas: safety, where I study AI chatbot safety and guardrails needed to protect especially vulnerable users, and accessibility, exploring how AI can support speech-language pathologists.
